The first phase of resinous floor installation for a seafood processor was recently completed. After years of in-house repairs, they came to us looking for a flooring option that could withstand wet-processing, changes in temperature, and high traffic. After removing their existing flooring, we installed Dur-A-Flex Poly-Crete SLB with Poly-Crete TF Topcoat, a nonporous floor system designed to withstand the thermal shock and cleaning that is required in food processing facilities. These seamless floors will provide years of traction and durability, and help ensure that our client can continue to provide the high-quality products they are known for.
We recently sponsored Andersen Construction’s 3rd Annual Golf Tournament in Seattle, WA benefitting Big City Mountaineers. We had a wonderful time golfing and socializing at our booth, “Camp CRI”, where we adopted an outdoor theme that featured delicious S’mores Shots and giveaway items.
The tournament supported Big City Mountaineers, a nonprofit organization that mentors under-resourced youth through wilderness expeditions and overnight camps. Teens are provided the opportunity to experience the wild and learn important life skills alongside an adult mentor in a 1:1 youth to adult setting. Since they began in 1990, Big City Mountaineers has served over 9,000 kids, conducted nearly 800 expeditions, led over 100 overnight camps, and provided nearly 42,000 nights under the stars for kids that otherwise would not have had the opportunity (Big City Mountaineers). We could not be prouder to support this important organization, and were thrilled to hear over $140,000 was raised through this event.
Thank you to Andersen Construction for inviting us to be part of such a fun day, and to all the golfers, staff, volunteers, and everyone who stopped by Camp CRI!
