Surface Preparation Services
Concrete surfaces are prepared prior to resurfacing, when upgrading to a decorative finish, and prior to various floor coatings installations in industrial, commercial, and institutional applications.
Scarification & Milling
CRI uses the most efficient equipment and methods for removal of trowel applied epoxy floors; high, uneven or curled concrete joints; elastomeric membranes; and ceramic tile floors.
Heavy duty grinding equipment allows for the removal of mastics, thin-set mortars creating a final floor surface preparation and/or polishing of your concrete surface.
Floor Scraping & Removal
CRI’s floor scraping equipment is capable of removing carpet, VCT, vinyl, ceramics, hardwoods, elastomerics, epoxies, decorative coatings, roofing materials, sport courts and many other surface coverings and flooring products.
Sandblasting can achieve a variety of concrete surface finishes. You can use sandblasting to prepare a surface for a better adhesion of a new layer of concrete or paint, to reveal aggregate for decorative reasons, to etch a design or to thoroughly clean the surface.
Shot blasting provides proper surface preparation which is critical anytime new flooring surfaces are to be installed requiring a bond to another surface such as a concrete or when bonding to various substrates.
